Six features. The whole app, end to end.
Open the map. Every venue is colored by what's actually happening inside, on a 5-band scale from cold to hot. That's it. No five-paragraph guide, no algorithm to learn — just a glance and you know where the night's going.
Behind the scenes, we're stitching together a handful of different signals — what people in the room are telling us right now, who's actually there, and what we've learned about each venue over time. We figured out how to make those signals talk to each other. You just see the answer.
If we don't actually have a read for a venue yet, the pin shows grey. Not coloured, not guessed. We'll tell you we don't know before we'll invent a vibe. That's the line.
Sometimes the hardest part of going out is just figuring out where to go. Plan Your Night does it for you. Tell it the vibe — patio dinner, dance floor, low-key cocktails, dive bar, whatever — and it pulls together a short route: your kind of places, currently at the right energy level, in an order that makes sense.
Invite your crew with one tap. No group chat. No five-paragraph debate. They get a simple ping with the plan, they tap in if they're down, and you can all see where everyone is as the night unfolds. Easy.
Crew is the small list of people you actually go out with. The homies you'd text first on a Saturday — not your whole Instagram following, not your work Slack. Build it inside the app, and they're the ones who see your plans, your pulses, your trails.
Make group plans without the group chat. Chat with the homies in one thread. Roll out together. It's that simple.
One tap when you start the night, one tap when you stop. Trails records every bar you hit, in order, with timestamps — so the morning after, you've got a clean map of exactly where the night went.
The PB-to-Gaslamp odyssey? Saved. The "we ended up at three different rooftops" chaos? Saved. The night you don't quite remember? Trails does. Drop it on your story. Show your friends. Best receipts you've ever had.
Fully optional. One tap to start, one tap to stop, and a banner at the top reminds you GPS is active the whole time — never a surprise. Your trails save to your profile so you can scroll back through every night that mattered.
Discover is the home tab. Open the app and the top of the feed is Best Spots — your personalized shortlist of places that match your taste and are currently warm-to-hot on the energy scale. Tap a card, see who's there, route in.
Scroll down and the feed surfaces scene cards for the spots having a moment ("rooftop just hit packed for the first time tonight"), hot-spot-nearby alerts when somewhere in walking distance turns on, and inline filters to slice by vibe, distance, or neighborhood without ever leaving the page.
Built for the five seconds between "we should go out" and actually walking out the door.
Everything above is what people see when they open the app. Venue owners get a completely different view. Your own dashboard — live customer counts, who's actually showing up (demographics, return rates, time-of-night patterns), tools to promote your slow nights, and a window into how your room compares to others in the neighborhood.
