Jellyfish is the first real-time occupancy data platform for the social
and nightlife industry. We measure how many people are inside every bar,
lounge, restaurant, and rooftop - right now, in real time. The consumer-
facing surface is a free mobile app that shows users the live occupancy
of every venue in their city; underneath, we're building the occupancy
dataset that will become the long-term moat for live social data.
Founded in 2017 by James Williamson. Launching in San Diego summer 2026.
